Jes Miller, a Shelbyville-based artist and architect, finds inspiration in the intersection of nature, nostalgia, and design. Her abstract impressionist paintings, often incorporating found objects, evoke a sense of tranquility and introspection. With a background in industrial design from Purdue University and a master’s degree in architecture from the J. Irwin Miller (Indiana University) program, Jes blends artistic expression with practical application. She works full-time at arcDESIGN in Indianapolis, where she focuses on community-oriented architecture. As a member of the Art on the Square gallery in Greensburg, Indiana, Jes actively contributes to the local arts scene. Her passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces is evident in her residential design work, which emphasizes historic preservation and intentional interiors.
